Hello, I’m Dr. Kathryn Brokus, DO.
A few years ago I was just like you: overworked, burned out, and dreaming of a better way to care for patients. Taking the leap from a stable hospital job to start my own practice wasn’t easy – it was scary and full of unknowns. But it was the best decision of my life. I founded Examined Life, a direct primary care & med spa practice serving Portsmouth NH and York ME, and in doing so I reclaimed my love of medicine and my work-life balance. I’ve “been there, done that” – and learned a lot of hard lessons along the way. Now, my mission is to guide other physicians through that same transformation.
I work beside you as both coach *and consultant.
